About Us

Born in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the adventure town of Lake Tahoe, Lilly & Beau Dog Boutique is mom and canine pup owned. My name is Dessi, and I always grew up wanting a dog. Unfortunately coming from a single parent family home, which moved and traveled a lot, I never had the opportunity to ever have my own canine best friend. Finally, after many years of waiting we welcomed Lilly the super Frenchie home in the Spring of 2023. She is everything we ever wished for and more, she has tons of personality, extreme energy and she is oh so loving cuddly and loyal.

After purchasing many boring and dull harnesses and leashes on the market, I wanted the very best for my sweet girl Lilly. I worked with designers and manufacturers to develop cute, ergonomic and comfortable harness and leash sets. Each item is thought through, and designed to make every pup look its best.

One of the challenges I wanted to solve with everyday leashes was the way we held and utilized them. I love taking Lilly with me to the farmers market and coffee dates, but I never have enough hands to hold on to her leash, my latte and my purchases. So.... in comes the "hands free" rope leash. It fits comfortably around my torso, keeping Lilly safe and close with just enough length for her to explore and say hi to friendly passers by. it can also be extended to a standard hand held leash if you pup needs some extra roaming room.
